Hey there.
Japan has entered into a 3-month-long (or in some years 4-5-month long) allergy season during which 1 in 5 people here keep sneezing nonstop, blowing the nose nonstop because it keeps running nonstop. It’s a horrifying season for those of us living in this goddamned country.
See this video.
Now, I happen to be one of those poor victims (for 15 years) of this particular ceder tree pollen allergy, and am not able to sing in recording quality for a few months. My throat is swollen, my vocal cords are swollen, my nose is swollen, my eyes are swollen. A great time to take a girl out on a date.
I’ll attempt to record on a good day, but it looks like it’ll be a while before the recording can be all done.
My apologies for those of you who thought that “the delivery was imminent”. I’d thought so too. Thanks for your patience. The baby will look bloody rad when it pops out.
In the meantime, I’ll try to record and release something that can’t be affected by this allergy from hell. Spring, it’s the best time to be in Tokyo…
Talk to ya soon.
hugs,
Aki
