So I somehow managed to finish recording all the parts for VME’s upcoming album yesterday. It was a damn long process.
I’ll start mixing this poop today. Now, our last album “Unacceptable Vegetable” used 24 tracks per song at the most. On this new album, some of the songs take up as many as 60-70 tracks. It’s gonna be yet another long process.
Just bought Metallica’s latest album a few days ago. Sure it’s loud. But everything is a little too distorted for my taste. I’ll take another route for my album.
Talk to ya soon.
Hugs,
Aki

I’m digging the new website. The first time I listened to the new Metallica album I thought there was something wrong with my headphones. Obviously that wasn’t the case… Some good songs on there otherwise.

Sebastian,
Thanks for your nice comment.
It’s been a long time since we rock n rolled in Denton. How are ya?
Despite the audible distortion issues, I actually like the Metallica album quite a bit. They’ve been trying to change their style forever but unfortunately sometimes what a band wants to do and what their fans want are two different things.
PS. I know you’re spreading the word for my weird little band from the Orient. Mucho gracias!
New album coming soon! (though it’s taking me a week to mix each song… Crazy…)
